For applications where a miniature indicator is required to operate from a high voltage supply and with low current consumption the traditional neon lamp can be used as a low cost solution. Neon indicators are constructed from a sealed glass bulb and normally terminated with wire leads. Ultra bright types normally have an ignition voltage of 70 ~ 94V ac.
