Character modules are the most popular method of displaying both
numerical and text based information. All of our modules have the universal
interface style that was first introduced with the HD44780 driver IC. The HD44780
controller has now been unavailable for some time; all of our modules use a
variety of compatible controllers which can be ordered in; Standard, European,
Cyrillic, Russian or Greek font options.

Our range spans modules with 2 rows of 8 characters up to 4 rows of 40 characters.
Most formats are available in a variety of character heights allowing you to ensure
your product is always readable.

All of the key formats are held in stock and there is no minimum order quantity for
any of our standard items.

The range of options includes:
• All Winstar modules available in TN or STN
• Temperature ranges - Standard 0 to 50 C, or Extended -20 +70 C
• Backlighting - EL or LED according to model
• Backlight colour
• Display mode - positive or negative mode
• Viewing angle direction
• Enhancement film on some types

have a factory fitted cable or connector of your choosing to simplify your purchasing
