Custom Plus Opto is now able to offer Field Sequential Colour LCD's (FSC-LCD). The modules are customisable TN displays featuring colour changing segments/icons without the need for expensive colour filters. The displays offer integral RGB LED backlight and controller plus onboard LCD IC, for direct microprocessor interface. With a contrast ratio as high as 250:1, viewing angles of up to 60° and a response time of 6ms, this technology is targeted at manufacturers designs that have traditionally used standard segment displays. The Winstar range of FSC-LCD products are designed to deliver all the benefits of a rich colour interface without the expense of full migration to a high resolution TFT product.
