The RE1 Single Board Computer, developed by Blue Chip Technology (www.bluechiptechnology.com) is based on the Alchemy AU1100 system-on-chip (SOC) processor core. The RE1 combines computing performance and I/O flexibility with an incredibly low power budget. This RISC based design operates at less than 1.5W, eliminating the need for a fan.

With a footprint measuring less than 100.0 x 70.0mm, the RE1 includes a rich array of features such as integrated graphics, Ethernet, USB and Audio. Designed with “real world” connectors, the RE1 can support a wide range of OS including WinCE, Linux and VxWorks.

Available as a standalone board, the RE1 can also be provided with connector boards to interface with an array of LCD options from 3.2” to 8.0” in one simple connection. This complete solution integrates a low cost, versatile embedded HMI engine with display, without worrying about cabling, connectors and signalling issues.

The RE1 is an “out of the box” solution which can help customers reduce their time to market.
