TS High Intensity LED Lamps
We have recently improved our range of Ultra bright LED lamps by introducing a range of high performance devices using Transparent Substrates to produce a high intensity light output. The “TS” die provides excellent stability and low degradation and can be assembled into a wide range of packages from standard 3mm and 5mm round types through to Oval, 4-pin super flux, side looking and surface mount styles. All devices are categorised and ranked for wavelength and luminous intensity, typical applications include beacons, signage, signalling and designer lighting. |

Super Flux Has Many Colours
As the demand for high intensity light sources increases a new range of super flux LED lamps incorporating the latest InGaN technology has been developed to include blue, green and white light.
Designed as a high performance light sources for use in rugged environments the LX9653 series can achieve in excess of 5cd @ 20mA with a wide 70° viewing angle. The wavelengths for the Blue and Green are 470nm and 525nm respectively, White lamps are ranked by x, y, colour co-ordinates on the CIE curve.
The package is constructed in a 4-pin format, the lead frame construction gives improved power dissipation and performance at high currents whilst producing a uniform light emission. Applications include Signage, Signalling and Automotive.

Display Has Integral Driver
Available in both dual and three digit configurations the “smart” displays are well suited for applications in process control and instrumentation. The alphanumeric version has a digit height of 0.54” and is based on 14 segments. Features include an integral IC for serial data input, continuous brightness control and 35 output drivers with 20mA sink capability. Operation is based on a wide power supply range between 3.5 to 10v.
The construction allows a wide field of view in high ambient light conditions and the on/off contrast can be maximised with a choice of face colour options, including grey and black. Emitted colours of red, green and amber are available as standard. The operating temperature range is from -40°C to +80°C.
