The "Winstar Smart Display Series" is an innovative display product from leading display manufacturer Winstar and offers shorter time to market and ease of implementation for a range of TFTs and OLED displays. The current range includes CAN and RS485 protocols as well as an entry-level UART interface.

The “Smart Display solution” comes with Winstar standard display modules and UI objects to get customers project off the ground quickly. If customers need custom UI objects support, our engineers can send over a new set of UI objects quickly.

CAN TFT Series Basic Function

We can provide LCD/TFT to communicate reliably in a hundred feet rather than inches and with daisy chain topology capabilities. Winstar CanTFT offers IPS TFT display for wider viewing angle.

  • DC 5V working voltage, low power consumption for USB drive.
  • CAN bus Interface.
  • Built in flash memory, stores the font and Object Dictionary Data.
  • Supports PCAP touch screen.
  • CanTFT Smart Display is defined as a slave device, controlled by master device via CAN bus command to render display content on the display screen and return touch event data with protocol objects.
  • Demo set HOST can be used on multiple platforms, such as Computer, MCU, or Raspberry Pi (with PiCAN2).
  • Built-in Buzzer is controlled from master device.
