TFT Display Modules provide high resolution, vibrant, full colour display panels with an option of controller boards and touch panel overlay. Now an affordable option for a wide range of applications we offer a range of display sizes and formats. Many of Winstar’s standard TFTs have low minimum order quantity and are suitable for long-term design-in to industrial applications
Winstar standard TFT LCD display modules are available from 1.77“ to 10.4“. These modules include options of panel only or LCM with controller board, and wide operating temperatures of -20°C to +70°C or -30°C to +80°C.
Winstar TFT displays are available in a range of resolutions including QVGA (320 x 240), WQVGA (480x272), VGA (640x480), WVGA (800x480), 640x320, 1024x600, XGA (1024x768) and WXGA(1280x800).
Winstar's IPS TFT LCD modules harness the power of IPS panel (In-Plane Switching) technology, renowned for its faster response time, higher frequency transmittance, and superior color performance. Significant advantages lie in precise imaging with wider viewing angles, ensuring consistent colour reproduction and high-quality images.
The range offers mini 0.96” to 15.6” diagonal, delivering improved performance in a range of demanding applications.
We also offer higher brightness versions for some models along with optional touchscreens.
The mainstream aspect ratio of the TFT LCD panels is 4:3 or 16:9, for some applications, a bar type shape or "letterbox" format of display panel can be more suitable for the application. Winstar Bar Type TFT LCD displays are perfect for industrial equipment, automotive applications, server system, POS system, dynamic information displays and advertising displays. “Letterbox” format TFTs are available from 3.9”~12.3”.
This wide aspect ratio format offers a choice of top and bottom view directions, or O-Film.
WF39 (3.9” diagonal, 480x128 resolution) family are suitable for 1U rack applications.

TFT panel display modules with a controller board integrates high-performance TFT LCD screens with a built-in controller, offering developers a simplified design process and a fast solution for implementing display functionality. These modules reduce the complexity of designing display driver circuits, allowing developers to focus on application development, shortening the development time, and improving efficiency.
Projected Capacitive Touch Panel (PCAP) is available in a wide range of standard parts. PCAP can be configured to accept glove touch. We now offer optically bonded cover lens with I2C or USB interface to the PCAP controller.
A custom cover lens attracts a small NRE and typically an MOQ of only 1000 units.
Newly introduced is “Hover Touch” technology, allowing touch functionality without physical contact with the touch panel.
For the added flexibility of being able to communicate direct from your micro, we offer a range of small size displays in QVGA (240x320) resolution and below, in display sizes from 0.96” to 3.5” that accept an SPI signal.

Active Matrix TFT Colour LCD Displays are becoming more pervasive for indoor or outdoor applications, especially the demand in wide temperature. Winstar offers a full range of wide temperature TFT LCD modules; available in various sizes from 3.5" to 12.3". These TFT modules can be operating at Wide Temperature Range from -30℃ to 80℃ or up to 85℃.
WINSTAR HDMI signal Displays are designed to work with the Raspberry Pi or embedded system, single board computers or desktop & laptops which support HDMI signal output. This series display modules come with a control board with a HDMI signal interface outputs. Sizes range from3.9" to 10.4"

The WFN0500A2T08ADNN000 is a 5-inch transflective color TFT display module that offers excellent sunlight readability and consistent viewing from all angles, due to its IPS panel. This module is well-suited for outdoor industrial devices, vehicle GPS displays, and portable equipment used in challenging environments.
The transflective display mode helps reduce power consumption while maintaining visibility in a wide range of lighting conditions, making it a reliable choice for compact and efficient HMI designs.
To support the market demand for larger displays in a fast-evolving industrial marketplace, Winstar offers TFTs from 10.1” diagonal for such applications as: medical instruments, kiosks, POS terminals, mixing desks and access terminals. Traditional 16:9, widescreen and bar (letterbox) aspect ratios are supported.

Optical Bonding reduces reflections and refractions. A variety of cover materials are used, offering anti-vandal & scratch resistance ensuring durability and ruggedness.
Optical bonding also increases contrast ratio, and resistance to impact vibration and moisture. It also prevents condensation
between the layers.
Many applications require wider viewing angle, Winstar's O Film TFT technology offers one of the best solutions. There are many wider view angle technologies for TFT displays in the market such as MVA (Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) and IPS (In-Plane Switching). Comparing to the MVA or IPS technology, O Film TFT has the advantage of pricing.
Winstar offers the TFT O-Film solution to enhance viewing angle of TN-LCD glass and overcome gray scale inversion.
